Live Events

Are you considering having an event and would liked it filmed?  If so

we would like you to consider us to capture your event and produced it onto DVD.  Live Event filming is very unique and we here at Franklin and Franklin Media have been apart of many different events in which we have produced to DVD. Here are some questions that you may ask yourself if you are considering having your event taped.

1) What types of live events do you film?

There are many live events which can be filmed the following list is just a short example, if your event is not listed be sure to give us a call to discuss how your event could be filmed.

-School Graduations

-School Plays

-Choir Performance

-Band Competitions

-Sporting Events

-Various Shows

-Concerts

-Christmas Plays

-Retirement Parties

-Lectures

-Cheer Competitions

-Much More

2) How is the show/event put onto DVD?

Once we film the show/event we then edit the show using Adobe CS4 software and build a customized DVD along with a DVD box and a disc designed by our graphics department.

3) How many cameras do you use?

Each event is different on the amount of cameras which we us.  At the very minimum we will use two high performance digital broadcast cameras along with two cameramen.  We also bring a sound technician to help with capturing the sounds of the event.

4) What if I have multiple shows of the same program?

We attempt to capture multiple performances of the show to allow us to have extra angles of the event.  We then edit the DVD to make it was one show.  Many times during a show like a performance or stage show the performers may perform better during one segment one night - by capturing multiple shows we can use the best performances on the DVD.  Pricing is adjusted to the number of times we film a show.  Many times shows have just one performance or clients wish for us to just film one show, the option is all up to you.

5) How involved must I be with the production company?

Because live events can be very hectic and you are working on producing your show you do not have time during the show to talk with us.  Once the show starts we will not interfere with the show in anyway. On many shows we come to the rehearsal and make a production plan.  If we are going to have any trouble with any shots we will work this out with you well before the program starts.

6) How do we set up you all to film our event?

First give us a call  (865) 654-8831 or e-mail (franklinandfranklin@hotmail.com) to see if we have the date available.  If the date is available we will arrange a meeting with you to discuss pricing and the event.  This meeting can be done vie phone, face to face, or via e-mail.  You can then decide if you would like us to film your event and we will then compose a contract for you to sign along with work out with you the finer details of the event.

7) Do you all charge to meet with me for discussing pricing options?

No we do not charge for the meeting unless we must travel over 50 miles.  This fee is also waived if you agree to have us film the event at our meeting.

8) What if I must cancel my event?

Cancelation fees are done on a case by case basis and our worked out during the meeting and in the contract.

9) Who must retain rights to film at the event?

It is the responsibility of you to retain all rights to film.  If problems arise and Video of the event is not allowed Franklin and Franklin Media accepts no responsibilities.
